Aspray Chester Deeside Dragons Welcome Back Alex Parry for Another Season
The Aspray Chester Deeside Dragons are thrilled to welcome back forward Alex Parry as he gears up for his 13th season with the team. Following in the footsteps of his father, Steve Parry, who played a pioneering role during the Dragons’ inaugural season 50 years ago, Alex continues to uphold the Parry legacy with pride and dedication.
Alex began his senior hockey career in the 2009/10 season and has been a steadfast presence in Deeside, playing for the team in all but one of his active seasons. His long-term commitment has seen him develop into a key player for the Dragons. Last season, he impressively racked up 14 goals and 23 assists, totaling 37 points and ranking fifth in team scoring. His enduring presence on the team is a tribute to both his skills and the Parry family’s deep-rooted commitment to Deeside hockey.

Reflecting on his return, Alex expressed his enthusiasm: “I’m happy to be back at the Den for another year! We had a great season last season, but there is always room for improvement. I’m eager to hit the ice with the lads and gear up for the new challenges of the upcoming season. With the talent we have in the changing room, I truly believe we should be pushing for the top spot this year. I’d like to extend my gratitude to all the coaches and support staff who make our successes possible.”
