GLEDHILL’S BACK

In a continued commitment to young British players and their development, the Aspray Chester Deeside Dragons are excited to announce the return of goaltender Jace Gledhill for the 24/25 season!

Another very talented young goalie with a ton of potential, Jace made his senior debut with the Dragons last season at just 16 years old, and put in some excellent performances. In addition to the Dragons, Jace went undefeated with the Nottingham Lions U18 team, playing 12 games and only conceding 12 goals, including 5 shutouts. He also emergency backed up for the Telford Tigers of the NIHL National Division.

Jace joined Dragons goalie OIlie Booth on the England U18 squad this spring, where he played parts of three games against a strong Scottish team.

“At the end of last season Mike said he would be in touch, so I was really pleased when he asked me back for a 2nd season at the Den in what will be the Dragon’s 50th Anniversary year. I want to be able to build on my first season of senior hockey and Deeside just feels the right place for me to do this. I’ve still got a lot to learn about the senior game and playing for a D1 team. Deeside is a great platform, with a great set up on and off the ice. I hope this year to be able to compete for more ice time in the coming season and will be working hard in the off season to ensure that I am in the best shape, both mentally and physically for the new season. Can’t wait to be on the ice again at the Den in front of the best and noisiest fans in the league. Be More Dragon!!!” Jace Gledhill

The Dragons are excited for the future of British goaltending under Ollie and Jace, and remain committed to their development as they continue to grow and work towards the upper leagues of British hockey.
