The battle for Welsh ice hockey supremacy is back!
The Welsh Cup returns for its second season since its long-awaited revival, and the S4S Deeside Dragons are ready to defend their crown.
Last year’s competition was nothing short of electric – two barnstorming games that had everything from end-to-end action to passionate fan support. The Dragons emerged victorious, lifting the trophy in Cardiff and bringing it home to Deeside for the first time since the Cup’s comeback.
This year, the stage is set for another epic showdown with Cardiff Fire. The first leg will take place in Cardiff on Saturday 20th September 2025, before the action shifts north to Deeside Ice Arena for the second leg on Saturday 27th September 2025 – where the Cup could once again be decided in front of our home crowd.
With pride, bragging rights, and the Welsh Cup itself on the line, both sides will be hungry to claim the title. If last season is anything to go by, fans can expect fast hockey, big hits, and plenty of goals.
