The Aspray Chester Deeside Dragons are thrilled to announce the signing of 24-year-old forward Garry Simpson from the NIHL side Bristol Pitbulls. This addition is a perfect complement to the Dragons’ current squad that is currently enjoying a 5-game winning streak.
Garry Simpson, a dynamic and powerful forward, brings both youth and experience to the Dragons. At just 24, Simpson has already demonstrated his scoring prowess and playmaking abilities across various teams. His most recent stint with the NIHL side The Bristol Pitbulls showcased his speed and skill, qualities that will now benefit the Deeside Dragons.
During the 2023/24 season, Simpson also played for the Whitley Warriors, where he impressively racked up 13 points in just 9 games, including 5 goals and 8 assists. His remarkable performance didn’t stop there; over the same season, he contributed a substantial 36 points in 26 games for the Paisley Pirates. These statistics underline his consistent ability to secure points and influence games, making him a key player to watch in the upcoming season.
