The Aspray Chester Deeside Dragons are excited to announce their preseason match-up against the NIHL National Division’s Bristol Pitbulls!
It’s been a decade since these two teams last faced off, which resulted in a 9-1 win for the Dragons in 2013. The only current Dragons remaining from that game are Matt Wainwright, Chris Jones, Ryan Broster-Jones and Marc Lovell.
“Everyone should be excited about this match-up,’ Andy McKinney, assistant captain for the Dragons, said.
“It’ll be a really good test for us before the start of the season,’ added Matt Compton, assistant coach.
The Dragons will be in Bristol on Saturday September 9th for a 7pm faceoff, before returning to Deeside the following day for a re-match at 5.15pm at the Den.
This will be the first time you get the chance to see the 2023-24 Aspray Chester Deeside Dragons squad, and it’s a perfect opportunity to come along and get excited for the start of the regular season!
