The Aspray Chester Deeside Dragons are thrilled to announce the return of long time Dragon Chris “Monkey” Jones for the 23-24 season!
Chris has been at Deeside since 2000, playing for the Flintshire Flames of Englands U16. Since then he’s suited up for the Flintshire Avalanche, the Freeze and the Dragons, taken brief trips to Telford and Blackburn, but he always comes home to Deeside. Last season he played 24 games for the Dragons and recorded 13 points.
“After a very tough season last year, I’m really excited to be signing for the Dragons again and looking forward to a fully structured upcoming season. The effort that was put in by everyone last season to get the Dragons back up and running was unbelievable and to see the fan base increase week after week was amazing! I can’t wait to start the new season in the Den and to hear the fantastic support from the fans.” Chris Jones
