The Aspray Chester Deeside Dragons are excited to announce the return of forward and Alternate Captain Andy McKinney! Last season Andy recorded 15 goals and 47 points in 25 games, third on the team in scoring.
“Excited to be back on board following a turbulent season. We had plenty of adversity last year. But, we persevered and did well all things considered.
Strong outlook towards next season with hopefully some new faces in the lineup as we’re aiming to be younger, faster and more exciting to watch. We’re expecting big things and I’m really happy to take on a leadership role again within the group and supporting the coaching staff!” Andy McKinney
“I’m more than just a little excited to welcome Andy back to the Aspray Chester Deeside Dragons for the 23/24 season! Andy played a pivotal part in last season’s successes and as well as a leadership role again in the coming season, Andy will also become an integral part of the coaching team, allowing us to press ahead with our longer-term goals of becoming a well-established development club.
Andy brings a wealth of experience from his illustrious career that will push the team week in and week out, he’s a huge character to be around for the younger players we are looking to introduce to our squad, and he will become a great mentor to many looking to develop their game. Nightingale House Hospice Midnight Walk
The Midnight Walk will be returning on Saturday 24th June 2023 to celebrate the event’s 15th Anniversary year in style!
Beginning at Llwyn Isaf, supporters across the community will join forces to help raise much-needed funds for Nightingale House Hospice.
