The Aspray Chester Deeside Dragons are excited to announce the return of forward Gary Dixon for the 23-24 season!
Gary is another long time Dragon, having played at the Den since 2002, taking a couple of breaks to play for Blackburn, most recently for the 21-22 season. As a veteran of the game, Gary brings energy and experience to a new look Dragons line-up.
“I am absolutely made up to be a part of the Aspray Deeside Dragons again for the 2023/24 season. Last year was challenging for us all, but the group is now stronger than ever I believe. The club has such a buzz about it at this moment in time and this is a testament to all the management team who have worked nonstop behind the scenes.
I personally have a few individual targets now that I want to meet for the season ahead, so I know I need to get myself ready to play. Can’t wait to see all the fans back again for our first home game. Up the Dragons!” Gary Dixon

His wealth of experience across the game and knowing what it takes to play at the highest level allows him to be the perfect mentor who can play the game adding great depth to the squad.
Dicko has clearly worked hard on his fitness across the offseason and will most definitely continue to feature on game day helping us build on last year’s achievements. Looking forward to seeing Gary push the game day roster and hitting the goals he’s set himself.
