The Aspray Chester Deeside Dragons are very excited to announce the return of fan favourite forward, Karl Bacon! Karl provides leadership, grit, and is a fantastic locker room presence for Dragons new and old alike, and will be doing the same thing he does every season: hyping the crowd up with BIG hits!
“I’m really happy to have signed for the Dragons for this coming season. The work put in behind the scenes off the ice has to be replicated by the lads on the ice this season, if that happens then we’re in for a successful season. We’re a few weeks into pre-season training now and everyone already seems quicker, sharper, fitter and more hungry than what we were last season. The energy has definitely been ramped up this year, hopefully we can stay consistent and continue that level of performance throughout this coming season.
On a personal note I’ve put the work in over the off-season to ensure I’m in the best shape possible to perform to the best of my abilities if an opportunity is given to me during the season.
