This nostalgic event celebrates the rich history of ice hockey in Deeside, marking a significant milestone for the club and its fans.
Special Commemorative Uniform
On January 6th and 7th, the team will don a unique Freeze commemorative uniform, showcasing their respect and passion for the sport’s history. The first match against the Blackburn Hawks will set the stage for this historic revival. The following day, the team brings the celebration home to Deeside, inviting fans to relive the glory of the past.
While replicas of this distinctive kit won’t be available for purchase, fans will have a unique opportunity to own a piece of history through an exclusive auction. This includes the special jersey, short covers, and socks – a true collector’s item for avid supporters.
Honouring the Flintshire Freeze Legacy
The Flintshire Freeze, active from 1998-2012, holds a special place in Deeside’s ice hockey history. The pinnacle of their success was the North League Championship in the 2003/2004 season – a moment of pride and achievement for the team and its fans.
