The Aspray Chester Deeside Dragons are excited to announce the return of forward MJ Clancy for a second season! MJ played all his junior hockey here at Deeside, and last season returned after a long spell away, where he played for Bradford, Telford, Widnes and Blackburn before coming home.
Last season he registered 14 points in 24 games, adding a goal in 2 playoff games vs Whitley Bay, and is continuing to add depth and youth to this exciting Dragons team!

“MJ is another product of the Deeside junior system. I think we forget sometimes he is still only in his early 20’s as he has been around senior hockey for a long time. He makes contributions at both ends of the ice, for us that can go unnoticed at times but is very important and typifies a player that goes about his role and contributes to the team’s strengths.
