Deeside Dragons sign Ethan Daintith on a 2 way with Hull Jets

The Aspray Chester Deeside Dragons are excited to announce the signing of Ethan Daintith on a two-way contract with the Hull Jets! Ethan will be joining the team this weekend as they take on the Sheffield Scimitars!

“I am really excited to be playing for the Dragons, it will be a great experience playing with other senior players and I’m really looking forward to seeing what the season brings. I’ve known Mike for a long time and I’m excited to be playing under him. Most of all I can’t wait to get in the den and in front of the Dragons fans!” Ethan Daintith

Mike Clancy “Ethan is a player I’ve known for a long time and watched develop under the Hull Jets ice hockey club. Ethan has already represented the Hull Jets NIHL 2 at a senior level where at just 16 he’s scored 3 goals and has 4 assists in just 13 games and boasts an impressive junior record. Ethan will continue to represent the Jets as part of his development and will join the Aspray Chester Deeside Dragons where the club permits on a two-way agreement to accelerate his development, I don’t see it being too long before he’s fully up to speed with the faster game at NIHL1 and playing to his potential. As a club, this is a development pathway we can and want to support in order to ensure younger players coming through get the right development to enable them to play at the highest level possible. We have a wealth of experience across our coaching and backroom staff who have coached or managed at Conference, England and most recently with Great Britain’s junior and senior teams, leaving our club in a fantastic position to support the younger player’s development needs.

Welcome to the club Ethan!” Head Coach Mike Clancy
