The Aspray Chester Deeside Dragons are extremely excited to announce the newest face to the roster, forward Brodie Jesson!
Brodie has predominantly played all his hockey at Telford, but long time Dragons fans might remember him as a part of the Dragons U20 roster in 2015-16, where he recorded 22 points in 13 games. Last season he played for the Telford Tigers in the NIHL, where he recorded 24 points in 56 games, as well as adding a goal in their 3 playoff games. Coming to back to the NIHL1 will give Brodie a chance to really shine, and Dragons fans should get used to hearing his name being announced after a home goal this season!

“I’m excited to be joining the team for this year. Mike, Andy and the rest of the staff are putting something good together here in Deeside. It suits my life outside of hockey and I’m really looking forward to being a part of it.” Brodie Jesson
“I’m delighted we can confirm Brodie Jesson as a Dragon for the coming 23/24 season. He’s a strong centre that plays a great two way game and knows how to find the back of the net. Having known Brodie for a number of years and having had the privilege to coach him as a junior, I know what he’ll bring to the team and he’s most definitely a great fit for the room.” Head Coach Mike Clancy
“Really excited to have Brodie on board, he’ll make a huge difference within our group bringing experience from a higher level. He’ll put the puck in the net for us but also provide solid defensive play through the middle of the ice. I’ve played with Brodie in Telford for a number of years and he gets better each year.” Assistant Captain Andy McKinney
