We were certainly a little late to the party with the Aspray Chester Deeside Dragons Ice Hockey Club; however, the impact and difference have been amazing! From the club, team, volunteers, and fans, we just want to say a huge thank you! Caitlin struggles with anxiety and mental health – games have really brought her out of her shell, and I’ve seen the ‘old’ Caitlin back with a sparkle in her eye and confidence creeping back! We left the rink a few weeks ago, and she said, ‘When I’m at the rink, I forget what anxiety is.’ To all involved, thank you for such a welcome at both home games and also for letting us tag along to the away ones! A great sport for us to watch, but it really has been much more than that! Diolch one and all… we can’t wait to be back next season!”
